Lehigh Valley Charter High School for the Arts: Master Class

Sarah was honored that her former high school reached out to her to come teach the upperclassmen vocal majors! This master class focused heavily on breathing techniques, meditation, and overall mindfulness to ease stress and anxiety. Students also got to participate in a few yoga flows and postures! The almost 2 hour class flew by quickly, and every moment was met with enthusiasm and openness from participants. There was also time for questions about Sarah's career, her path after graduating, and her advice for those who want to delve deeper into yoga.

Barry Isett & Associates

The engineering and consulting firm welcomed Sarah Shea to lead employees in some workplace yoga. This involved stretches to help with stiffness, correcting posture, and releasing stress. Due to the nice weather, yoga was able to be hosted on the outdoor patio.

City of Allentown: Free Yoga

To celebrate the tail end of summer, Sarah and the city decided to partner up again to bring the citizens of Allentown more free yoga - and this time, in the beautiful Rose Gardens! Meeting every Sunday of September in 2023, Sarah led some very beginner-friendly yoga amidst the floral tranquility of the park. Although it did rain on some Sundays, participants were dedicated. The last class, which was a makeup class, was held on a gorgeous sunny day.

LeTip of Lehigh Valley

This professional networking group's chapter in the Lehigh Valley enjoyed some beginner-friendly outdoor yoga. Graciously hosted at one of the member's houses, Sarah Shea led participants through both standing and seated postures during a warm, sunny afternoon.

City of Allentown: Juneteenth Celebration

As part of the city of Allentown's message to promote health and wellness, they teemed up with several yoga instructors that included Sarah Shea Yoga. After discussing the benefits of yoga and solidifying details for dates, times, and themes, the city decided to work with Sarah Shea so the public could access free yoga classes in the park. This would occur for several weekends leading up to and including the city's Juneteenth celebration. Themes for classes included the importance of community, healing through hurt, and, for the celebration, basing the classes off of quotes from influential black leaders.
